You need Jesus

You might not realise it but you hunger and thirst for a relationship with God.

There is more to you than meets the eye. You’re a spirit, soul and body and your spirit and soul need the Lord Jesus and once you have him your body benefits as well.

What do I mean by “have him”?

You see, religion teachers knowledge about God but you can actually have God living inside you and know Him.

God created the heavens and the earth he also created all things including you. But when he made Mankind he made us in the same image as himself – spirit and yet God does not have a body.

When God created the heavens, the earth and you he spoke you into existence. God first thought about you and then out of those thoughts spoke everything about you. We call this speaking of God the Word of God.

There is something wonderful about the Word of God and that is that it is a living Person!

1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and God was The Word.2He was in the beginning with God.3All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

John 1

This person who is the word of God is of course the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus is the very words of God. God is the source. Jesus is the word. The Holy Spirit is the power in those words. There are not three gods but only one – The Father and within the Father is Jesus his Word. Jesus is one with the Father and is always proceeding and coming out from the Father.

This same Jesus who was with the father in creating all things came through a virgin becoming a human being one of his own creation.

Someone who knew Jesus as an adult, a man named John, wrote and said that this Jesus is the word of God made flesh who dwelt Among Us.

John1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Think of it! The very word of God became a human being and demonstrated what the invisible God, The Father, The Source of all things is like. If you will read the gospel account about the life of Jesus of Nazareth you are reading what God the Father is like. Everything Jesus did and said he said and did in complete Union with his Father – God.

Jesus healed the sick and the lame. He cured the Incurables, he raised the dead, he blessed little children, he loved all people, he gave his life for us. All of that reveals the Father’s heart for mankind.

You are the the Apple of God’s eye.

God loves you so much that he sent his only son Jesus the word of God to come to our physical realm to show you his love. Why would God do that? Good question! It is because we are his children. He created us, all of us.

The problem is that we have gone astray from God. We are lost children who have gone our own way so God sent Jesus to bring us back to Himself so that we might have a child-Father relationship with God. You might argue and say that you are not lost.

You have a problem then because Jesus only came to save the Lost.

Jesus said those who are well do not need a doctor but the sick need a doctor. He said that he did not come to call the righteous but Sinners to repentance. If you think you are well then you do not need help. If you think you are found then Jesus will not find you. If you think you are righteous then you don’t need Jesus do you.

Most people living in the west today believe that they are good people and that when they die, if there is a God he will allow them to be in his Heaven.

The only way anyone gains entry into the Father is through having Jesus the Word of God inside their heart.Having Jesus in your heart connects you with the Father who is Spirit.

Being a good person on the other hand without having Jesus leaves you disconnected and empty therefore – lost!

If you don’t die without having Jesus the word of God inside your heart connecting you with the father you are lost.

The Father is searching for all his lost children and you are one of them. You ask What must I do for Him to find me?

It is simple. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be found.
