In the time of trouble I called upon the Lord

And He heard my cry of distress and delivered me from my enemies. The net of the enemy is surrounding us and we are caught in that net. Is there any deliverance from the Lord? Or should we prepare to die?

A Christian should not fear dying for to be absent from the body is to be present with Jesus. Yet heaven is not all there is. There is a “better resurrection” to be attained. Your life here on earth is preparation for ruling and reigning with Jesus in the age to come in the heavens and the Earth. The enemy would sift us and wants to ensure we are not in that “better resurrection” spoken of in Hebrews 11:35.

King David our brother in the faith of Jesus Christ lays it all out for us….

Psalm 31

In You, O Lord, I put my trust;
Let me never be ashamed;
Deliver me in Your righteousness.
Bow down Your ear to me,
Deliver me speedily;
Be my rock of refuge,
A fortress of defense to save me.

Ps 31:3 For You are my rock and my fortress;
Therefore, for Your name’s sake,
Lead me and guide me.
Pull me out of the net which they have secretly laid for me,
For You are my strength.
Into Your hand I commit my spirit;
You have redeemed me, O Lord God of truth.

Dear Father – Jesus your son, when He was facing death called out to You and committed His spirit into your hands. So we too commit our spirit into your hands!! For our enemy has secretly laid a net to capture our feet in…and we are stuck Oh God!! Hear us and pull us out of his net.

Ps 31:6 I have hated those who regard useless idols;
But I trust in the Lord.

It does not give immunity, you can still catch it and spread it…this is surely a useless idol and I DO NOT REGARD IT as being anything. It is useless and like dust before the wind. I will not trust in it but shall continue trusting in You alone Oh God.

Ps 31:7 I will be glad and rejoice in Your mercy,
For You have considered my trouble;
You have known my soul in adversities,
And have not “shut me up” into the hand of the enemy;
You have set my feet in a wide place.

This has not taken You by surprise Father–You know all things that  we are facing in the world. You hear our cry for help. You now our distress and our sighing comes before your throne. You have not shut us up into the enemies hand…Hebrew sagar – to surrender. You have not surrendered us to the enemy nor given us into his hand. But You have SET my feet into a WIDE PLACE….or KJV says large room.

He has caused us to ABIDE IN HIM. Our spirit abides in Jesus — the TEMPLE  of God His hiding place for us. Feet SET in a WIDE PLACE

“Wide place” is the Hebrew word merchâb
From H7337; enlargement, either literally (an open space, usually in a good sense), or figuratively (liberty): – breadth, large place (room).
Total KJV occurrences: 6

God has not abandoned us to the enemy! He has pulled our feet out of his net and set us in a wide place of LIBERTY! We have come into a new place of VICTORY through our adversities.

Ps 31:11 I am a reproach among all my enemies,
But especially among my neighbors,
And am repulsive to my acquaintances;
Those who see me outside flee from me.

6 feet apart – they flee away. When I approach them they run in terror from the “unclean” one. I would love them and encourage them but fear has gripped their hearts. The are no longer behaving like humans but have reverted to being like a wild beast – herded and prodded by the overlords.

Ps31:12 I am forgotten like a dead man, out of mind;
I am like a broken vessel.

I once was used every day, delivering goods and driving Road-trains and B Doubles. My wife was once tending in a loving way to many sick and broken ones in hospital – she was so popular and needed to care for those dying elderly patients…But now we are like broken vessels that are discarded and put into a dark cupboard.

Ps 31:13 For I hear the slander of many;
Fear is on every side;
While they take counsel together against me,
They scheme to take away my life.

Those around us and those over us in Government scheme to take away our life O Lord. They say we are selfish. They say we a threat to them even though they are all protected by the safe and effective idol. They are driven to kill us by a spirit of fear which has been loosed upon them by the Evil one.

Ps 31:14 But as for me, I trust in You, O Lord;
I say, “You are my God.”
15 My times are in Your hand;
Deliver me from the hand of my enemies,
And from those who persecute me.

16 Make Your face shine upon Your servant;
Save me for Your mercies’ sake.
17 Do not let me be ashamed, O Lord, for I have called upon You;
Let the wicked be ashamed;
Let them be silent in the grave.
18 Let the lying lips be put to silence,
Which speak insolent things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.

We trust in YOU O GOD….Our times–the time allotted to us-is in Your hands. You know our rising and our sitting. You know the way in which we take. You lead us and you guide us. You cause Your face to shine inside of us and to DELIVER us from our strong enemies. We will not be ashamed for God is with us FOR we trust in Him alone.

Those who trust in useless idols shall be ashamed.

Ps 31:19 Oh, how great is Your goodness,
Which You have laid up for those who fear You,
Which You have prepared for those who trust in You
In the presence of the sons of men!

This is the same as Paul’s encouragement to us….

1Cor 2:But as it is written:

“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

God has prepared good things for those who love Him…we look steadfastly to you Father! We Trust in You no matter what comes our way. For …

Ps 31:20 You shall hide them in the secret place of Your presence
From the plots of man;
You shall keep them secretly in a pavilion
From the strife of tongues.

That wide room, that secret place of Your Presence UNDER THE SHADOW OF YOUR WINGS is where we dwell–we trust in you O God.

21 Blessed be the Lord,
For He has shown me His marvelous kindness in a strong city!
22 For I said in my haste,
“I am cut off from before Your eyes”;
Nevertheless You heard the voice of my supplications
When I cried out to You.

23 Oh, love the Lord, all you His saints!
Forthe Lord preserves the faithful,
And fully repays the proud person.
24Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart,
All you who hope in the Lord.

No One Who trusts in the Lord Jesus Christ shall be ashamed.

All who trust in useless gods shall be ashamed

After I wrote this today – Saturday January 15th, between 9:00am and 9:55am I was moved to see what God has said lately to Prophet Lana Vawser…

AMAZING!!!

I HEARD THE LORD SAY “WHERE MANY HAVE HAD A ROOT OF FEAR, I AM COMING AS THE ALL CONSUMING FIRE TO CONSUME IT AND IN ITS PLACE WILL BE A FIREBALL OF FAITH”

This is me Who is blind but My servant, Or deaf as My messenger whom I send? Who is blind as he who is perfect, And blind as the Lord’s servant? “The Lord God has given Me The tongue of the learned, That I should know how to speak A word in season to him who is weary. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear To hear as the learned. The Lord God has opened My ear; And I was not rebellious, Nor did I turn away. I gave My back to those who struck Me, And My cheeks to those who plucked out the beard; I did not hide My face from shame and spitting. “For the Lord God will help Me; Therefore I will not be disgraced; Therefore I have set My face like a flint, And I know that I will not be ashamed. He is near who justifies Me; Who will contend with Me? Let us stand together. Who is My adversary? Let him come near Me. Surely the Lord God will help Me; Who is he who will condemn Me? Indeed they will all grow old like a garment; The moth will eat them up. “Who among you fears the Lord? Who obeys the voice of His Servant? Who walks in darkness And has no light? Let him trust in the name of the Lord And rely upon his God. Look, all you who kindle a fire, Who encircle yourselves with sparks: Walk in the light of your fire and in the sparks you have kindled— This you shall have from My hand: You shall lie down in torment.
